Daily Proverb: Proverbs 9:2(KJV) She hath killed her beast; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
(Daily proverb is a verse that corresponds with the date and the chapter of the book of Proverbs I've read today.)
My name is Desmond I am 25 years old, from South Bend, Indiana. I am a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. My Bachelor's Degree is in Sport Administration. I am 6'5", slender, Black, and Christian. I currently reside in Coral Springs, Florida with my girlfriend of 20 months, Stephanie.
I am interested in nearly everything but mainly things related to people. I am enjoying life, or what I like to call "This Human Experience," so far. I have always been obsessed with sports, history, and geography. Recently, I have become interested in religion, peace, and the future of our world. There may be a term for a study of the world that I'm not aware of, but I'm interested in how it works and the effect we have on our future.
I have always watched television for information more often than reading books. A lot of what I know and talk about comes from the History Channel, ESPN, CNN, and local news. I was "book smart" but too lackadaisical to consider myself a good student. Although, I plan on enrolling in Graduate School and 'mastering' my studies. I am very intuitive and creative but not good with grammar. These early posts will seem like a grammatical nightmare, where I try to explain my faults and lack of sound fundamentals. I basically did not grasp key elements of grammar and sentence structure and have not overcome those deficiencies yet. (Which is a shame because I am an excellent speller and have strong command of the English language)
Enough about me (sorta), my blog will be about the different theories of, in short, Armageddon. My basic principles are that I do not believe the world will end, I believe there is a solution to sustain and improve the 'human condition', and I do not believe human existence will cease (hence the title of my blog). I hope to share my thoughts on the 'secrets' of the world, discuss the problems and solutions society faces, and work to build a better planet. I most likely won't blog everyday or ever reach a huge audience, but I hope I get just one person interested who will want to share conversation.
Well that's a quick background but now I want to get back to watching "The Mysteries of the Freemasons" on The History Channel.
Be Blessed,
DRH
